We were honored to join Thornton Construction Company, Inc., Florida International University, Florida International University - Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, and Baptist Health to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new $158 million Helen and Jacob Shaham Academic Medical Center. The seven-story, 163,000-square-foot facility, slated to open in 2028, will feature academic learning spaces and outpatient multi-specialty services, including same-day surgery and diagnostic imaging. These services will make it easier for the community to access high-quality outpatient care while helping train the next generation of physicians. We are excited to partner with Stantec as the architect for this project. Read more about how this facility will serve our community: bit.ly/43HtNUm #BuildingWithPurpose
Meet Dusty, the friendly-faced layout expert who stands just inches tall. This robot prints digital model data directly onto the jobsite floor, quickly providing a multi-trade layout “map” while maintaining accuracy to 1/16 inch. This winter, our project team at Huntsville Hospital Madison Street Tower — a $150 million five-story vertical expansion that adds 120 patient rooms to the hospital — had the opportunity to give Dusty a test run, and the results were remarkable. Here’s a look at how it works, its key benefits, and the lessons the team learned along the way: bit.ly/40QypX5
Our project team at the Spartanburg Joint Government Center kicked off Construction Safety Week 2026 with a hands-on fall protection demonstration. Special thanks to Construction Coordinator Jacob Callahan for volunteering to be suspended bright and early. Our team's commitment to safety sets the tone not just for this week, but every day. The team also got a first look at the innovative GuardAnchor Mount, which offers flexible mounting options for guardrails on concrete surfaces. We're excited for more learning and engagement as we continue to prioritize safety on every jobsite! hashtag#SafetyWeek2026

Collaboration makes a difference on and off the jobsite! With the support of our trade contractor partners and Duke Health, our Duke Health project team members laced up their shoes to host Bowling for Hunger. In all, the event raised $13,000 for Meals on Wheels of Wake County, supporting the delivery of nutritious meals throughout the community. We are proud to work alongside partners who share our commitment to #GivingWithPurpose and strengthening the communities we serve.
