The Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Vienna has world-leading researchers in Computer Science who pursue basic as well as applied research. The selected predoc will also become part of the UniVie Doctoral School Computer Science (DoCS), which builds an essential framework to foster excellence in research and teaching.

The Research Group Multimedia Information Systems at the Faculty of Computer Science is looking for highly motivated research assistants, Ph.D. candidates. Duration of employment
The announcement is made for 3 years, whereby the employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of 3 years, unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months. In case of probation and appropriate work progress, an extension to 4 years is possible.

Master in Computer Science, or Media Technologies, or Business Informatics (or equivalent qualification, with a strong focus on Computer Science) with excellent marks
