Promo-based development, where the actual benefit to customers is not important, but visibility within the org is utmost. Centralized ownership, top down approach. Constant reorgs and manager changes. USA teams get to work on much more interesting/innovative projects.

AWS has one of the most fun and interactive assessments upon applying and if you pass they almost instantly give you an interview with the recruiter.

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
