      Need to lobby for visibility, have to fight for opportunities to influence and deliver on VP/S-team goals to be able move forward in career. I suppose from engineering we lose perspective and get tangled in tech or deeply technical topics when what matters for the business if its delivered and if it holds to an appropriate tech bar.

      You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
