      AWS employs the smartest people I have ever met. I'm continually impressed by our engineers and their talent, intelligence and capability.

      Kontras

      We treat these smart people terribly. The company is a meat grinder with no focus at all on retention or career progression. PMs/TPMs are not respected here.

      You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
