Managers are rated once a month via surveys, the company is monitoring every manager 24/7 via tools, frequency of usage of the HR pages and those information can be used whenever the organization needs to get rid of you. Salary, promotions are lead by softwares, one is told what to say for annual review. And ultimately managers are made responsible for the dry, not friendly culture where humanity and empathy are the missing part.

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
