Good pay, and you probably won't find yourself working more than 40 hours per week as a software engineer, at least in Alexa. But don't underestimate how much of your energy that 40 hours per week can take

Feels like a machine that's built to extract as much work as possible out of employees over the 40 hours in a week. If you can compartmentalize your work and just need a solid paycheck, fine.
