We’d like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the outstanding efforts and dedication of our amazing Graduate by Hilton Tempe operations team during the hotel’s recent renovations. Yolanda Bell (Housekeeping Manager), Esther Blastos (Director of Rooms), and Steven Navarro (Maintenance Supervisor) have gone above and beyond since the beginning of the renovation process, which focused on guest rooms and common areas. Together, they worked tirelessly to ensure there were no guest interruptions, all while coordinating seamlessly with the contractors to keep both schedules aligned and on track. Despite the long hours and extended weeks, Yolanda, Esther, and Steven demonstrated exceptional leadership, teamwork, and commitment. Their proactive communication, hands-on approach, and unwavering focus helped ensure the renovation progressed smoothly and efficiently.

The Hotel Colee team, alongside our wonderful guests, came together to spread love and kindness by creating heartfelt Valentine’s Day cards for the residents of the Piedmont at Buckhead Senior Living Center. With creativity and care, each card was designed to bring a smile and brighten someone’s day. This special initiative not only allowed us to give back to the community but also reminded us of the joy in simple, thoughtful gestures. We are grateful for everyone who participated in making this Valentine’s Day a little more special for our neighbors! ❤️
On Wednesday, September 25th, Hotel Tampa Riverwalk closed its doors under a mandatory evacuation order from the City of Tampa as Hurricane Helene approached. Little did the team know this would mark the beginning of a journey defined by resilience, grit, and unbreakable team spirit. The following day, rising waters painted a grim picture of the storm's severity. The General Manager, alongside the Director of Engineering and a dedicated engineer, began extracting water as they had during past tropical storms and hurricanes. But nothing could have prepared them for what was about to unfold. The storm surge rapidly exceeded all forecasts, overwhelming the hotel and inflicting catastrophic damage on critical mechanical systems. Within minutes, water reached knee height, prompting the team to evacuate the sub-level and move to the lobby—just ten minutes before the first electrical transformer succumbed underwater, erupting in a small explosion. In that devastating moment, the team lost more than just equipment. The housekeeping and engineering departments were wiped out. Every tool, every piece of office equipment, every guest room supply, and countless irreplaceable team memories displayed on bulletin boards vanished in an instant. It was more than material loss; it was a heartbreaking erasure of the tangible pieces of the teams daily lives and shared experiences. Today, while there is still work to be done, the team is proud to announce that they are open for business!

The Los Angeles wildfires have deeply disrupted and impacted many lives, including those of our colleagues, family, friends, and neighbors. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this unpredictable and unprecedented start to the New Year. To support those displaced by these devastating wildfires, we have partnered with local hotels to provide special offers for evacuees. Through this collaboration, we aim to offer a safe and comforting refuge during this difficult time. Our community’s strength lies in our compassion and ability to come together in moments of crisis. We hope Anaheim can be a source of solace for our neighbors in LA County.
