Overworked and underappreciated - Software Engineering Manager bei Uber: Mitarbeiterbewertung

It's very performance-focused with little practical tools to measure performance objectively, so performance is in my opinion often not judged fairly (including when it comes to promotion). Since the company has changed its focus on efficiency (reducing spending), they are trying to double down on this inefficient performance process, and my feeling is that that is turning the environment toxic. At the managerial position this is most evident.
