If you're in your 40's and there more than 15 years you are in trouble - likely passed over in the past for not having the "right experience" now you are stale and where you sit now, you probably will for the rest of your career. Most management teams manage to the work rather than being inspired leaders. It's about getting a job done at any expense and now with the voluntary and involuntary separations, many fewer people. Senior leadership continues to have unrealistic expectations. A lack of concern for work/life balance and constant criticism over time create a very toxic environment.
