Pros

It only has a fake brand value.

Kontras

I have joined as a fresher in 2017 for SSE post through campus placement. 1. Moral of every employee is always down. Not at a good place to work. 2. Salary hike are myth. Infact we got our salary reduced about 1k in April 2018, despite company going through profit in the first quarter of 2018. 3. HRs of this company seem to have attitude problem. They always answer in a rude tone. 4. Long bench period. 4 months is minimum and for maximum sky is the limit. I have talked with people who have been on bench for 13 months. 5. Cafeteria food is average but you pay higher than food outside. You always hear about companies where cafeteria is subsidized but here in Capgemini it's overpriced. 6. Benefits for employees. What are they? Everything is paid inside the company campus except for the parking space. 7. In October 2017 the company saw it's 50 birthday. All we got was just a email. There was no celebration to cut down the cost. 8. Diwali gift- email. Christmas gift- email. New year gift- email. 9. When you complete 5, 10, 15 etc in the company, you will find your name being printed and pasted but don't get hike or bonus.

Kontras

I was laid off after spending several months on the bench, with "lack of available projects" cited as the reason. However, another consultant in the same role who was also without an active client engagement was retained. As a woman and racial minority, I could not ignore the disparity in how these decisions appeared to be made. Before my termination, I reported being recorded without my consent and raised concerns about conduct that I believed reflected implicit bias. I was referred to as "URM" instead of by my name or role, encouraged toward race based employee resource groups rather than meaningful career opportunities, and repeatedly advocated for fair project placement while on the bench. My employment ended shortly after I raised these concerns. Following my termination, I pursued the matter through the appropriate internal and legal channels. I provided documentation supporting my concerns and gave the company multiple opportunities to investigate and resolve the issues. Rather than meaningfully addressing the evidence or acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, the company denied wrongdoing, offered what I viewed as a nominal severance, and declined to accept accountability. Employees deserve confidence that concerns about discrimination and retaliation will be investigated objectively and fairly. My experience left me with the opposite impression.
