Straight forward - HR followed by Technical by at least three people. Questions on my experience and resume. Very detailed conversations, though. The process took few weeks to schedule. From date of application to interview was more than four months.
The process has several steps. It starts with a screening by HR. Then a chat with the hiring manager. Then there are two assessments: one focuses on the soft skills. The other focuses on technical skills.

I applied online for a posting online. It took about a month before I heard from Shell. I finally got a call from HR and they left a message that they trying to schedule a phone interview. I later had a phone interview with the hiring manager and another engineer.
