Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte mehr als 2 Monate. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Nov. 2015 bei Lockheed Martin (King of Prussia, PA)

I was emailed to let me know they were considering me and wanted me to fill out a PEF, a simpler version of the SF86. They will contact you via email if they see an issue or need clarification. I was then contacted weeks later after no contact to tell me I was being interviewed. The interview event was conducted with a dozen or so managers.
They give you the spiel about Lockheed Martin and everyone is friendly up front. You will get called two or three times by different managers. You will have an interview with them and will only be allowed a strict 30 minutes with each person. They will ask you all behavioral questions and leave very little time for questions of your own. For security reasons, they can say very little about the job itself, which makes it hard to pick the team you want to go with. You then choose the managers in the order you like the job.
Three weeks after that, I got a very very vague email with a job offer from them. I was told my salary and that's pretty much it. I was given no phone number to call if I had more questions and no explanations as to benefits. The starting date is unknown as the next step is passing the clearance process.
I'm glad I did my research because the average wait time for a clearance was 8-18 months! Not only that, but in that time an investigator comes and interviews everyone you know, interviews your current employer, etc... You better keep some good money stowed away because it could be several months until you get that security clearance verdict. Granted this stuff is all standard procedure with top secret security clearances, but for the pay and the complete lack of involvement throughout the HR process, I turned it down. I've also heard awful things about their job security and they just let go their entire ISGS department last June. Not worth it IMO.

Frage 1
Standard behavioral questions. I was never asked anything technical, which makes me think they are bringing in just about anyone.

Phone call, interview, offer. Interview was very easy questions about how you would approach different situations but nothing too specific needed or challenging. As long as you are somewhat prepared with examples of difficult situations you'll be fine.

They described a bit about the role, and then asked standard interview questions, followed by consenting to a background check. nothing out of the ordinary. The interviewer was friendly and took a real interest in what I had to say.
