📢We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded International Air Transport Association (IATA)’s CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) Corporate Center Certification. The IATA CBTA is an approach used in dangerous goods training, to clearly establish the training needs for specific job functions, while ensuring that employees acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. As well as demonstrating Menzies’ commitment to upholding the very highest standards of dangerous goods training, this certification enables Menzies to conduct dangerous goods acceptance training for cargo – something which had previously been outsourced. Congratulations to the Group Risk Operational Learning and Development team for securing this prestigious certification! 👏 #MenziesAviation #PeoplePassionPride #Training #Cargo #GroundHandling
💚 Here at Menzies, we understand the importance of making the transition to clean energy, which is why we’re determined to ensure that 25% of our global ground support equipment (GSE) is electric by 2025. We’re making good progress against this target, with over 40% of our GSE at Europe locations now electric. At next week’s International Air Transport Association (IATA) Ground Handling Conference, Jonathan Hankin, Manager Technical Services & Engineering Standards, will share his experiences of navigating the often challenging transition to electric. Join Jonthan, Rebecca Schnack and moderator Steve Savage at the ‘Electric GSE – As Easy as Plug ‘n Play?’ session, being held at 13:30 on Tuesday 7 May. #MenziesAviation #PeoplePassionPride #IATAIGHC #GroundHandling #ElectricFirst

I can happily say that I found my niche!” Josh has been particularly impressed by the “supportive and inclusive” culture at Menzies. “I am never afraid to reach out for help or ask for support in pursuing something which is key for my professional growth.” As part of his professional development at Menzies, Josh is set to gain his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification over the coming years. 👨🎓 Best of luck for your career at Menzies, Josh!
