Howdy from Texas, Team Accenture Federal Services! Following in the footsteps of our Metro D.C and St. Louis counterparts, our San Antonio office took on the Rock Your Voice challenge. Our talented San Antonio team took center stage for an unforgettable Karaoke Happy Hour! From soulful solos to epic group performances, 30 brave souls rocked the mic and brought down the house. Rock on, San Antonio!
Our CEO, John Goodman, promised to perform karaoke if we reached a target response rate on our annual employee experience survey. Of course, our people CRUSHED it! We reached our highest-ever response rate on this year's survey. With a riveting performance of ‘Help’ by The Beatles, John Goodman literally dropped the mic this week as a thank you for record-breaking survey participation. ICYMI: Our colleagues rocked it all night long, too, with solo and group performances that were jaw-droppingly good. We’re still singing their praises.

We are excited to announce that Ron Ash has been named the next CEO of Accenture Federal Services and Chair of the Board of Managers, effective September 1, 2024. Ron has been an extraordinary leader, innovator, and champion of our clients and people since he joined our company in 2002. Before serving as our Chief Operating Officer for the last two years, he has held senior roles across our business and was instrumental in delivering transformative programs with our clients. He started his career in 1996 at Accenture, focused on supply chain transformation in global industries. Ron succeeds John Goodman, who is stepping down as CEO of Accenture Federal Services and Chair of the Board of Managers on August 31, 2024, after an extraordinary 26-year career with the company. We are grateful to John for his incredible contributions to our growth and success. And we look forward to our next chapter with Ron as we continue to propel our company, clients, and people to new heights and deliver even greater mission impact together.

This award, presented by City of San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg, recognizes the impact we are making in workforce development and community engagement, while continuing to build our Advanced Technology Center. There is great talent across San Antonio, and we are committed to empowering individuals through skill development and career advancement opportunities. The powerful program included our very own, Azocha Nkobena, sharing her career journey line, and recent promotion to Managing Director, our Male Allies Corner panelists- Ron Ash, Damon Bramble, & Jerome Farley--and host, Joshua Levie, and incredible table leads who shared insights, connections, and inspirations on how to begin, grow, or shape a career in technology at Accenture Federal Services.
