Pros

Exposure to many different business units. Great technology and products. This is a Swiss firm so employees may experience a different corporate culture which is not a bad thing. UBS has many international employess which helps one network.

Kontras

There is a lot of red tape, paperwork, and mico-rmanagement. Lack of communication between managers and employees. Takes a long time to complete projects due to lack of manager availability.

Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
