Different divisions of the company are managed differently. In my division - strong focus on technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee empowerment. Interesting diversity of work assignments.

Company had gotten pretty big by the time I left, and felt more and more corporate & hierarchical - traits that were not there when I joined the company when it was much smaller. Heavy emphasis on billability, lots of administrative and business development activities expected on the side, while still doing billable client work during the normal workday.
