If you have a supportive team of seniors you can have solid access to leadership opportunities, owning client deliverables, working relatively independently, client facing opportunities.

Work life balance can vary dramatically across teams (good WLB = around a 50 hour work week; bad WLB = pushing 60 - 70 hours) . Every project I've ever been has been severely understaffed. Managers and seniors often don't have the time to provide great guidance and mentorship for younger staff.
