Strong sense of job insecurity and a lack of adequate senior leadership. Frequent changes are made without clear purpose or direction. While the salary can be competitive, for some it may not justify the high level of stress and constant pressure to perform beyond excellence. I believe in being passionate about the company that you work for, as well as company’s product, mission and values. However, the amount of “drinking the Kool-Aid” can make the environment feel cult-like at times.
