- work life balance - convenient location - more laid back, retirement friendly.

- slow technical growth. tools are old, technology is old, mindset is old. - lots of fixing issues by putting bandaid rather than fixing true root cause - a lot of finger pointing and blame pushing. zero responsibilty/accountability. very difficult to resolve issues. - very old school thinking mgmt and micromanagement. encountered very toxic device snr mgr who used threats. other mgrs and HR are aware but nothing is being done. - very slow career progression. - uses salary between different job grades to compare to output - way too much office politics. - pay is lower than market - no WFH option (subject to director/dept mgr whims)
