I was hired to work 100% remotely from the east coast. I received recognition and a spot bonus for work and I did enjoyed it initially.
Kontras
Under new ownership they made a back to the office mandate, which supposedly included everyone hired to work remotely. I was given 1 month to get to Texas from the east coast or leave. Yet, this mandate did not apply to everyone. A remotely working senior developer colleague was told he could stay on. I decided this was no longer the company I was hired into and couldn't uproot my family.
