Associates' commitment to the 5 Principles is felt across all functions in each of the segments, and the open-office floorpans really contribute to the collaboration and sense of community present in all locations. Also, the diverse segments of Mars provide many options for a long and fulfilling career within the company. That being said, Mars values independence and associates who take initiative with their careers and within their roles. There are innumerable resources for development and advancement within the company, but if you're not willing to take your career in your own hands it will be hard to move up!
