Pros

Pay is decent, benefits are not bad, work vehicle is nice, decent PTO.

Kontras

Extreme micromanagement, most management fresh in role and offer no real support. Management very two faced, changing the goal posts in each conversation. They really attempt to mentall & emotionally abuse you to attempt to get you to work nonstop. Manager directly asked me to work nights and weekends. He had never been a manager prior. Place was a joke, area manager had 0 involvement in things. Claims are assigned to you at all times and automatically scheduled for day and time range to be there. They time exactly how long you should take to get there and be on site for. All things count against you. have worked at multiple other providers, this would easily be the worst. Proceed at your own risk. Manager was regularly demeaning and condescending and I am old school. Blatant disrespect acting like only he could do the job right. Outside of the culture your coworkers are nice, vehicle is clutch, being in the field is nice.

Pros

Good benefits. Generous 401k match

Kontras

Started my career at Liberty Mutual as a Workers' Compensation intern. In the beginning, everything was going well. The workload was demanding, but I genuinely enjoyed the job and the work I was doing. One year later, I got promoted to claim adjuster. Things changed after my manager was seriously injured in a car accident. The department director took over managing our team, and the work environment became completely different. She was extremely rude and practiced excessive micromanagement. She expected me not to take any PTO if my work wasn't completely finished, even when I needed time off because my grandmother had suddenly passed away. The constant pressure and lack of empathy took a serious toll on my mental health. I developed depression during that time and eventually had to seek help from a psychologist. In the end, I decided to leave Liberty Mutual. It was one of the best decisions I made for my well-being, and I would not consider returning to the company.
