Pros

Pay is slightly above standard as far as insurance sales go.

Kontras

Commission structure changes constantly. It literally changed as I went through training and 4 more times in my two years here. My specific department is ACT don't get suckered into that you'll do far better in normal inbound. Leads that are purchased for my queue don't want insurance. I've had 3 managers in the past 4 months. Goals went from 35 a month to 80 on the latest commission structure. if you're applying for a normal "inbound" position then the goals are over 110 right now. Work Environment isn't the worst however you basically have to "log" when you go to the restroom. Meaning you're either at your desk the entire day or you will hear from management. They use to be flexible with scheduling but not any more. I'm normally not one to complain about my employer but this is typically how a commission job works it's "amazing" when you get there but over time the higher ups want more in their pockets so structure changes form rep making a lot of money to rep doing more work to make less.

Kontras

Started my career at Liberty Mutual as a Workers' Compensation intern. In the beginning, everything was going well. The workload was demanding, but I genuinely enjoyed the job and the work I was doing. One year later, I got promoted to claim adjuster. Things changed after my manager was seriously injured in a car accident. The department director took over managing our team, and the work environment became completely different. She was extremely rude and practiced excessive micromanagement. She expected me not to take any PTO if my work wasn't completely finished, even when I needed time off because my grandmother had suddenly passed away. The constant pressure and lack of empathy took a serious toll on my mental health. I developed depression during that time and eventually had to seek help from a psychologist. In the end, I decided to leave Liberty Mutual. It was one of the best decisions I made for my well-being, and I would not consider returning to the company.
