Pros
I've now been working at Insight for 1 year (Uxbridge Branch), and one of the most encouraging aspects I've seen is the desire to constantly improve. Improve from an employee, client and capability perspective. No company is perfect and Insight knows it has some work to do, but it's a company with great ambitions that realises it needs it's employees to be motivated and valued in order to achieve it's goals, and clients to be given the very highest levels of service and advice. Investment is constantly being made in there areas and it's plain to see. The people are wonderful and it's a testament to the business that it's managed to retain good people for such long periods of time (up to 20 years in my team, with an average of 10 years). The business is also focusing on new blood which is essential. I feel confident in the leaders of this organisation and it's an exciting time to be part of the team (just hope I'm part of the team for many years to come!).
Kontras
Some old practices and mentalities remain but nothing that has me losing sleep. These are being addressed (systems for instance are an issue but a road-map is in place to replace). With any company as large as Insight some red tape exists, however this has never stopped me achieving a desired outcome.
