- Some interesting clients - Some really fun, smart co-workers

- Low pay and incomprehensible review/raise process - Cliquey work environment to the point that people in the loop were given choice accounts and opportunities to advance over everyone else - Seriously cultish atmosphere. When Mr. Edelman gave a company-wide speech, people were fawning over his mostly obvious observations. - Tons of turnover in our office. Bizarre firings where people were clearly managed out and also lots of people who just got fed up and left - Poor work/life balance - I understand the regime has changed, but the old leadership in the office was absolutely clueless

I'm sorry to read your review as it seems you had some challenging experiences during your time here. Like any organization, Edelman may not be for everyone. I personally have never heard Edelman referred to as ""cultish"" given that our culture is made up of independent, entrepreneurial thinkers. In fact, you may have noticed that Richard Edelman was recently named ""Best Agency Professional of the Last 20 Years"" by PRWeek, which is indicative of the innovative, not ""obvious"" leadership we are used to. Pros

I worked with some of the brightest and best people in the business. Most of them are no longer with the company. Some good clients, and nice office space.

Very limited opportunities for growth. During my time they reduced promotions to only once a year, and made many excuses for promoting as few people as possible (despite becoming the first "$1B" agency at that time). Morale was extremely low. People were forced to come into an office with nobody they actually worked with. Common to be passed from manager to manager. At one point I had 6+ managers within a 10-month span.
