Pros

-Flexible work schedule -Summer hours -Management is willing to provide as much responsibility as you're willing to take on -Friendly work environment -Medical field provides a very stable employment environment -Good benefits package

Kontras

-Top down management style that doesn't welcome dissenting opinions -Non existent professional development. -Company values external over internal experience. Saw numerous qualified people get passed over for promotions in favor of hiring someone external. -No recognition. Mediocre work earns you the same review/raise as doing extraordinary work. This has led to a lazy organization. -Heavy work load. The company is chronically understaffed with a backlog of projects. If you work hard to get your work done early, you are "rewarded" with a new project. -Penny smart, pound foolish. They're worried about preventing the purchase of name brand pens while refusing to increase head count that could implement huge cost savings.

Really good pay, good management, company car, and overall decent work life balance.

Pros

Nothing to gain here for growth

Kontras

*Constant pressure of management. *Zero to little training. *Always rushing people and not letting them voice their opinion. *Toxic workplace environment with no growth in career. *Certain individuals pressured to learn machinery and important paperwork while others do less and get the same compensation. *Mistakes due to workload and burnout heavily punished. *6 day workweeks constantly *No direct support from management. *Shortage of people in all departments.
