Pros
Compensation and benefits were decent and there were great opportunities for students who’ve come right out of university. Plus the free beer (which you still had to pay tax on)
Kontras
Where do I begin? I’ve waited a few months before writing this review just to cool off, but these were honestly the worst years of my life and I’m so thankful I finally left! In my few short years here I’ve experienced more than a fair share of awful experiences. 1. Senior leadership who have zero EQ and as the business progressed they continued to push our South African’s and replace them with Brazilians. When I say the “MANCOM” we’re the most entitled group of people who no regard for their employees - I mean it. 2. The business had no regard for employees during COVID. Pushing workers to come in as soon as possible. Resulted in people getting sick over and over. An absolutely disgusting experience to see how they favoured money over people. I am thankful little jobs were lost, but it was a mistake to force people in so soon. That was all due to the HR leader back then who was past her sell by date. 3. Turnover was like a revolving door. I had numerous managers during my time there. I never felt “settled in” for one moment. 4. The business has little/no sense of HR trends in regards to benefits people wanted. Flexible work, better medical aid etc. so much resistance to the changing world around them. 5. They manipulated employees with emails and meetings to write good reviews on the engagement survey - it was laughable! While asking us to write “good Glassdoor reviews.” I’M FINALLY FREE!!!!!!! I know the job market is rough, but please consider your happiness before working here.
