Most experiences will vary based on team and org. The pay is good and employees are smart.

However the leadership team has demonstrated they do not care about their own company's "leadership principles". They claim to be a data-driven organization and make huge decisions with zero data claiming "intuition", while a vast amount of evidence is presented showing the opposite decision is better. Unfortunately the entire company is faced with the impacts of their poor decision making.

Ownership culture at the team level — engineers are often trusted to drive complex cross-layer initiatives. Good exposure to platform systems, device-to-cloud integration, and large fleet operations.

Kontras

Over the past few years, frequent leadership changes and repeated organizational reorgs created uncertainty in long-term technical direction. Compared to earlier years, there are fewer net-new greenfield initiatives, with more focus on sustaining and maintaining legacy programs. Shifting priorities and evolving reporting structures can make roadmap continuity and long-term architectural planning more challenging.
