- Management does not know how to manage. I've been in several meetings as a PM where I offered suggested courses of action. Management seems to agree. We end up talking about peripheral stuff for another 40 minutes, then when we adjourn, management changes their minds and it's like we never met. No action is taken and we continue to sit in the death spiral. The pay is really below par for what they should be paying. Management does not value contributions of employees. - Management does not respect Project Managers and uses them as project coordinators or note takers. - I've been in meetings where sr. management actually makes fun of other people. Not in a joking way, but in a demeaning way. - IT infrastructure is old, breaks down a lot - Management looks down on IC's as subordinate and unqualified.
