Pros
Hard work was rewarded in the beginning with decent raises and frequent promotion. If you were willing to take the risks there were rewards. I had 4 separate immediate managers at ADP and I would say they were all great. I truly felt that at the immediate level (honestly up through VP) at least, management did care about me and my family.
Kontras
Management above VP doesn't care about anything but the stock price. Period. They give the illusion of caring through surveys but always push everything back onto the lowest level possible and never offer solutions (because they don't care). I honestly believe if they didn't think their current client base would revolt that they would fire 100% of their US staff and outsource if it would increase the stock price $.05. instead they are doing it slowly ... instead of laying off client facing roles they are not back-filling them in the US and doing it elsewhere. Non-client facing roles aren't so lucky. I truly believe this mentality kicked into high gear when Carlos took the helm.
