Utter chaos 1. Started with the standard phone screen where they ask for salary and working accommodations. The recruiter was very excited to get me in front of the hiring person. 2. The first onsite interview-a one hour drive - was scheduled for a Monday morning at 9 am. 3. As I'm signing into security I'm notified that the hiring manager won't be able to make it. 3. Rather than accommodate a virtual interview they re-scheduled another onsite at their other location even further away at 1.5 hour drive. 4. All this time I'm being told I'm "The Guy". 5. During the interview the hiring manager asked just a couple of questions and tells me I did really well. 6. Three days later I get an automated email with the rejection which I send to the recruiter asking for clarification. 7. She tells me someone with more experience(mind you I have about 20 years of experience) else came in at the last minute. All within the three days of the interview process.
