The interview consisted of general questions about the role, qualifications held and suitability for the role. I was interviewed by an HR individual and the lead for the Sub Saharan Africa Desk. The interview itself was quite straight forward. However, for some reason one of the interviewers seemed quite distracted and looked disinterested as I gave my answers which I thought was very rude. I felt after preparing for the interview at least give the person being interviewed some attention. After the interview was done after about 30 mins, I left I felt I was given little consideration as a candidate by both and was given a brief "goodbye" by the HR individual (she seemed in a hurry) as I walked out. I was never contacted on the outcome of the interview, even after follow up emails being sent and phone calls to their office. Control Risks is a reputable company but after this experience, I would never recommend let alone apply for this company again.
