Verified reading a script without too much hesitation. Confirmed phone etiquette with whether or not I had a pleasant voice for phone. Went over scenarios who would I handle hostile or disgruntle customers. Inquired if working weekends or holidays were an issue, or to be called in last minute when there is a National Emergency Alert in which the company mans hotlines for those in a National disaster.

What would I do if the customer is very unpleasant. How would I react when a customer is yelling or upset due to either dissatisfaction of a product or due to an emergency event.
Got to do the online preliminary test. Then you get an e-mail saying you did or did not achieve 70%. You've been warned the test is not accurate of anyone's capacity to do the job. I've done many tests before for other companies and there's never been an issue.

You have to do this online test where every question is timed.
It's a typing test, situational test and grammar test.
The test is very badly created. The grammar questions are not straightforward and depending on how you view things the answer could be different. Things such as counting mistakes but it's not black or white.
Mind you I failed it despite I have a bachelor's degree a cegep degree and worked in customer service for many years. That alone tells you that test doesn't do a good job in figuring out someone's level of English.
So they want to test you to see if you are good enough but they can't even measure up to their own standards. They really don't care if what they're doing is correct or not.
Easy, basic questions asked, listened to an employee take a few calls to determine if i was still interested and if i would be able to handle it. I was told how a normal day would usually go and given schedule information and was told to come back the next day for orientation.
