The process started from a screening call with the HR. After that I had a total of 3 rounds plus an assignment. Every round has at least a weeks lead time so plan accordingly. The 1st round was a coding interview in which I was supposed to write code in a Google Doc based on the questions asked by the interviewer. The questions were fairly simple and everything went well. After that I was given an assignment which was fairly easy, and they wanted to test me more on how I structure my application and how I approach the testing of the solution. It took more than a week for them to revert with the next steps. The next round was a design interview. It wasn't like other technical design interviews, the interviewer asked me to workout a feature which Airbase actually uses while I was expecting a more abstract theoretical design question. I did decently and probably could have done better. This led to the final round which was with the Hiring Manager and gave me the impression that after investing almost a month I am pretty close to getting the job. The final round went very well and since it was only supposed to be a Q&A for checking values alignment and the discussion gave me the impression that I am fulfilling most of their criteria. But they decided not to give an offer which was disappointing mainly because I had invested 6 weeks worth of my time which most other companies try to finish within 2 weeks. Overall I would recommend that you have other options while interviewing with Airbase.
