Our team is excited to be presenting exciting new research on patient outcomes this week at the American Headache Society’s Annual Scientific Meeting! Patients receiving migraine care with Cove gain 7.9 productive days back a quarter on average, which amounts to over a month a year. Today, Cove Neurologist Dr. Saurabh Sharma will discuss how Cove’s asynchronous Migraine care is making a significant impact on patient lives by addressing affordability and access gaps. If you’re attending AHS, stop by our poster to learn more from Dr. Sharma and Emily Smith, Cove Strategy & Operations Lead. Migraine is the second leading cause of disability worldwide and the leading cause of disability in young women. We are proud to help patients reclaim moments in their lives and deliver specialty healthcare the way it should be: affordable, easily accessible, and tailored to each patient’s needs. hashtag#AHSAM hashtag#headachemedicine
Migraine attacks are 3x more prevalent in women than men - but very few states have migraine and headache specialists available to treat the condition. Cove's Medical Director Dr. Sara Crystal talks about her personal migraine journey and how living with the condition drives even deeper empathy for patients in need. We're proud to have empathetic providers, like Dr. Crystal, deliver on the promises of telehealth by driving access to high-quality and affordable care.

May 1st marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Month, and since launching mental health under Nurx two years ago, we have seen increasing demand for this service. Patients need better options to care — especially women, who are twice as likely as men to experience anxiety or depression. Our progress to date: 1. Two-thirds of our patients live in areas that have a shortage of mental health professionals 2. With our asynchronous care, we are reducing patient wait times to care and improving outcomes with increased rates of remission 3. We partnered with Talkspace to offer patients with therapy options, where users can connect with a licensed provider and access their self-guided app With asynchronous telemedicine, we can provide high-quality, empathetic care to patients who may not otherwise have access to the treatment that they need. We’re proud to announce a new partnership with Talkspace to broaden access to mental health care for more than half a million women! With Nurx, the comprehensive women's health offering, and Cove, the largest virtual clinic treating migraine, we treat hundreds of thousands of women across the spectrum of specialty care options they need. We currently offer mental health treatment focused on medication management for conditions like anxiety and depression, which are more common in women than in men. By partnering with Talkspace, we can now connect those patients with therapy options, including online therapy with a dedicated, licensed provider and Talkspace's self-guided app. The partnership marks a significant step forward in expanding access to mental health services, particularly for women who may face barriers to traditional in-person therapy. By joining forces, we aim to address the growing demand with mental health experts and asynchronous care, readily available for patients whenever they need it. It's National Women's Health Week, and this year, the focus is on empowering women to take charge of their health. We continue to support women with 1) comprehensive care, improving their health and their lives through Nurx and 2) providing thousands of women with migraine care through Cove. Progress we've made so far in 2024: - Expanded access to birth control with Opill, the first over-the-counter birth control option available in the U.S. - Launched our partnership with Talkspace, enabling us to connect Nurx and Cove patients with therapy options, including online therapy and a self-guided app, to provide patients with a host of options to support their mental health journeys. - Providing birth control and emergency contraception to patients when it matters most. More than half of patients using Nurx for birth control and emergency contraception live in a state where abortion is not protected, illegal, or treated with hostility - demonstrating how our work in reproductive care is more important than ever. We’re proud to be a trusted partner to women by providing specialty healthcare the way it should be—seamlessly integrated, easily accessible, and personalized to each patient’s unique needs.
Our Chief Medical Officer Dr. Neil Parikh has been named to Modern Healthcare's 2024 Innovators List! This award recognizes leaders driving innovation that improves care, achieves measurable results, and contributes to the clinical and financial goals of the organization. Dr. Parikh has led the charge in advancing our asynchronous care model, increasing equitable access to quality care across key condition areas where persistent cost and access gaps exist — especially in areas of women’s health with both Nurx and Cove. We are proud to be committed to the efficacy of asynchronous care and how it drives access, reduces disparities for patients, and improves outcomes for patients. Congrats to Dr. Parikh and the entire Thirty Madison team on this much-deserved honor! Learn more at the link: https://lnkd.in/eHuv22_T
