StoneRidge recently hosted a Bazaar which brought together staff, residents and families! The bazaar featured a variety of homemade crafts and unique treasures. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to showcase their talents and support one another. The recent multicultural fair at Stone Ridge Senior Living was a vibrant celebration of diversity, bringing staff and residents together to share their rich heritages. Colorful tables displayed traditional foods from around the world, inviting everyone to taste new flavors. The Angelic Youth Fellowship Band from Uganda played while guests exchanged stories and artifacts, creating a warm atmosphere of connection and appreciation. The event not only highlighted the beauty of different cultures but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among all attendees!
Last Saturday, StoneRidge residents and staff came together at Ocean Beach Park for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Eastern Connecticut. 💜 It was a meaningful day of raising awareness, sharing stories, and walking in honor of those affected by Alzheimer’s. We’re proud to be part of this important cause!

On July 17th, we proudly celebrated our staff who completed our English as a Second Language class! 🎉 12 StoneRidge team members dedicated themselves to the 8-week course, attending twice a week to enhance their conversational English. A heartfelt thank you to Life Care Services leadership for their unwavering support and to Cristiaan Aguilar from New London Adult and Continuing Education for their exceptional instruction.
