SRPVets, an Employee Resource Group, recently held its annual Memorial Day luncheon for SRP team members to honor the military personnel who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country. The event featured Margy Bons, Founder and CEO of Military Assistance Mission (MAM), who spoke to the hundreds of team members in attendance. “Memorial Day serves as a solemn reminder of the courage and selflessness of those who have defended our freedoms. A native of the Philippines, Denisse Gonzalez’s route to becoming an engineer at SRP was a journey that began in her home country with a father who inspired her. SRP is celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by sharing her story.
