The American Cancer Society’s Birmingham Hope Lodge® is a place of hope for cancer patients receiving treatment. This home away-from-home serves hundreds of guests each year with free lodging. However, the facility's windows needed replacing: seals were broken, windows were fogged, and cold air leaked into the rooms. When Renewal by Andersen of Alabama learned about the need at the Hope Lodge, they quickly stepped in to help. The team donated and installed 96 windows, making the rooms brighter, more inviting, and more energy efficient. This project is a part of our #RenewalCares initiative where we give back to the communities in which we live in work because at Renewal by Andersen, we’re not just about windows and doors, we’re about improving the lives of people we meet and making a positive impact in our communities across North America.
