🚨New Research from Omada Health challenges assumptions about GLP-1 discontinuation 🚨 In a newly published analysis, members in our GLP-1 Care Track maintained their weight loss with just 0.8% average weight change one year after stopping GLP-1 medications. New claims data analysis demonstrated lower healthcare utilization and spending, compared to traditional in-person PT, for members in the Omada for Joint & Muscle Health program. 🏥💡 Published in PTJ: Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Journal and using claims data sourced from HealthVerity, this study revealed a reduction in overall healthcare utilization and MSK-related costs, leading to over $1,000 in gross median savings per member at both six and 12 months. As MSK-related treatments account for nearly 15% of employer medical costs, Omada's virtual MSK program presents a compelling, cost-effective option for physical therapy.
