Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, has been recognized as a Magnet facility with Distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the highest honor internationally for nursing excellence and recognition of its outstanding safety and innovative care for patients. This is the second Magnet recognition for Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital, which received the designation for the first time in 2021. With this recognition, Intermountain St. Vincent Hospital's nursing teams were specifically recognized for surpassing benchmarks in patient satisfaction, quality of care and nursing leadership certifications. “Achieving Magnet designation is the result of hard work and a relentless focus on high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Lee Boyles, president of Intermountain St. Vincent Regional Hospital and Intermountain's Montana and Wyoming market. “I am thrilled our nurses at Intermountain St. Vincent Regional Hospital have earned this prestigious designation once again. It is a testament to the exceptional care they provide to our community every day.”

Intermountain Health and Madisonhealth invite the community to an open house at noon on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, to celebrate the arrival of Intermountain Flight & Ambulance Services to Rexburg, Idaho. As part of the community event, an Intermountain air medical helicopter will be on display at Madison Memorial Hospital, the new base for the aircraft and team. The community open house will offer residents a unique opportunity to see the Intermountain aircraft up close and learn more about how the critical care air transport services now available at Madison Memorial Hospital will enhance emergency response capabilities across Rexburg, Madison County, and surrounding rural communities. “We are grateful for our partnership with Madisonhealth and the trust they’ve placed in us to serve this community,” said Wade Patten, medical transport clinical director for Intermountain Flight & Ambulance Services. "We’re honored to help expand critical care in Rexburg and the surrounding communities – bringing faster, life-saving care to patients."
