We were delighted to welcome RICS President, Nicholas Maclean, OBE RD FRICS IRRV (Hons), who shared valuable insights on the role of RICS today, alongside some of the key challenges and opportunities facing the profession - from membership to internationalisation. It sparked some thoughtful discussion during the Q&A, followed by the chance to continue conversations more informally with colleagues. Moments like these are a great reminder of the value of coming together as a profession to learn, challenge ideas and look ahead.

We’re pleased to welcome Nadha Dawood as our Expert witness and Litigation support service head. Based in our London office, with more than 18 years’ experience supporting complex construction and property disputes, Nadha brings with her deep technical and commercial expertise for clients and legal teams. Alongside leading our Dispute resolution and Expert witness service, Nadha will work closely with Richard Hunt and Sandra A Sint to strengthen our Building forensics capability, helping clients navigate increasing regulatory pressure, risk and complexity through robust, evidence‑led analysis. Our offices hosted fundraiser walks across the UK, to raise money for our Charity of the Year, The Brain Tumour Charity. We’re excited to share that our Newcastle team has officially moved offices 🎉 We’ve said goodbye to Media Exchange in Ouseburn and are now based at Spire Platinum Suites, right in the heart of Newcastle city centre. 📍 Our new address: 2nd Floor, Spire Platinum Suites Pilgrim Street Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 2DS The move gives the team a more central, modern space with improved facilities and easier access for meetings, travel and collaboration - a really positive step forward for both the team and the business. And as a bonus, the views don’t disappoint, with sights of the Tyne Bridge, the Sage, All Saints Church and the Quayside. We're excited for this next chapter and can't wait to welcome colleagues and clients to this new space!
