The celebrations concluded on a memorable note with prizes, followed by traditional Indian refreshments. Our Diversity Advantage Program (DAP) exemplifies Circana’s commitment to empowering minority- and women-owned small CPG businesses with the tools, data, and coaching they need to thrive. Since its launch in 2021, DAP has grown to include 58 participants, supported by 250+ Circana employees who volunteer more than 15,000 hours annually. We are excited to announce that Stuart Aitken has been named President and CEO of Circana, effective January 1, 2025. He will succeed Kirk Perry, who has decided to retire from his role as President and CEO and will continue to serve as a member of the Circana Board of Directors. Aitken joins Circana from Kroger, where he has served as Chief Merchant and Marketing Officer since 2019. Aitken has helped evolve the Kroger brand with a strong focus on people and culture, data and insights, and shopper transformation, leading to significant value creation for Kroger and its partners. Stuart brings a unique understanding of the role Circana plays in the data ecosystem and the challenges and opportunities our retailer and manufacturer clients and partners face today. We're excited to share highlights from our recent volunteer event with the "Center of the Earth", where our Greece team came together to make a real difference! 💜🍲🌿 Together, we prepared organic meals, serving 200 individuals in need through the "Galini" Day center, which supports adults facing psychological challenges. Beyond cooking, we learned about natural remedies, strengthening our community connections while embracing sustainability. The fourth cohort of Circana’s Diverse Scholars Program has just kicked off! Delivered in collaboration with St. John's University and the University of Illinois Chicago, the program is designed to expose students from underrepresented backgrounds to potential career paths in the corporate world. This year’s 11 scholars will have access to Unify+ and other Circana products, and will be supported by mentors as they work toward a year-end business case study in which they will present insights and recommendations for growing their assigned brand. Over the past three years, we’ve sponsored more than 30 students and we’re delighted that 80% of the students who have completed the program have gone on to full-time opportunities and internships at Circana and other reputable companies such as Amazon, BBDO, Walgreens, CVS, Deutsche Bank, and many more.
