We’re proud to recognize Brian Perkins, William Swimley, and Brayden Jensen for their outstanding performance and professionalism in the field. Recently, a client shared this feedback on their outstanding work: "I wanted to take a moment to thank you for sending this crew. I've been a Geologist/Field Lead for 12 years in 22 states across the US, working with Cascade drillers most of the time. This crew has been outstanding. They all work extremely hard every minute of the day. Each one of them actually looks for ways to get things right and asks me how I'd like things done at every step of the project. Brian is an absolute pleasure to work with. He continually strives for perfection and consults me about how I'd prefer his crew to proceed. He clearly has a ton of experience and expertise, but he collaborates with me on every decision. If I had my druthers, I'd have them on all my projects. They're top notch."

At a Superfund site in Bordentown, NJ, Cascade completed full-scale remediation to support safe site reuse. The project presented significant challenges, including unanticipated debris in the soils that required hand segregation, along with extensive excavation and off-site disposal of impacted material. To address these, our team coordinated debris removal efficiently and leveraged an additional workday to ensure quality and stay on schedule. Approximately 1,300 cubic yards of soil contaminated with heavy metals and PAHs were replaced with certified clean backfill, all completed safely and within the one-month timeline.

It’s been one of those weeks where Mother Nature kept us on our toes. One day we’re watching a liftboat drill in a dry bay, the next we’re wondering how to reach it as the tides play hide-and-seek! The pace and workload isn't slowing down around here either at the moment. With a backlog of work pushing out beyond the new year already, we will keep charging through the holidays and keep the ball rolling. Beyond the bay, we’ve got a big out-of-town job humming along with a bunch of 500'ers going, Geoprobe 7822's on mudholes, rock coring down to 200', and cranes swinging through transit yards. We also have the luxury of dealing with our teams navigating some seriously tight urban ROWs. We even had guys smiling and a rookie pulling levers and getting comfortable coring on both a liftboat and on the streets of the Bronx! Whether it’s public or private, local or remote, land or water—mud rotary, sonic, or DPT—we’re built for it all. No matter the challenge, we’re ready to roll. - Matthew Ficeto, Operations Manager

Keeping a site "pristine" is no small feat! This employee shoutout goes to Freddy Navarro, Steven Austin, Timothy Van Ness, and Chris Chaillou. One of our clients shared this high-praise: "Freddy, Chris, Tim and Steve have been killing it on this very demanding project with complex geology, varying lithologies, and faults. The prep work for each location has been on point. Freddy has been extremely responsive with strong communication skills which has been very much appreciated with this client and their need to know every detail ahead of time. The drillers have impressed our entire project team, as well as our client, with their efficiency, speed of coring, attention to detail during the mob and demobilization, demeanor on site and interaction with the client and community (which is as important as the drilling on this project). One of the site owners actually used the word ”pristine” to describe the site after demobilization. Please keep up the good work!" No matter how complex your project's geology or lithology, our crews have the experience and field-earned insight to deliver above and beyond expectations. Get in touch if you'd like to work with us.
