Does not pay for completed work according to contract - Mitarbeiter (anonym) bei iD8-TripleSSS Media Development: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I have worked for ID8-TripleSSS since 2010, before the parent companies merged. In all that time, I have found the principals to be excellent clients, easy to work with, always willing to take the time to be sure we have the same understanding of the scope of each project, and just genuinely nice people to work with. The projects themselves are interesting and varied. Payment is on a fee-per-project basis and the pay rate is excellent. In five years of working with the company, they have never failed to pay. Another reviewer objected to having a holiday gift made in our names to charities rather than being given a bonus. Employees receive bonuses. Independent contractors (being self-employed) do not -- that would be inappropriate. I am very happy and grateful that ID8-TripleSSS makes donations in my name for the holidays (and yes, I know which charities).

The only con I can think of is that the payment schedule is net-90 and then some for most projects. That is excessively long compared to other clients. But, that said, the pay *rate* is very good. The company understands that this is a problem and have said they are working on it.

I am writing this because the one review on this site was written by someone who ghosted a job and is in small claims court now for taking money on a project that wasn't finished by them. I'm here to say that the pros are flexibility; answers to questions 24/7; good pay as a freelancer compared to other like companies; helps with the client and always has a back up for me if I am in a situation--which I haven't been for a long time but know those who were.

While they pay well, they pay slower than they should. That is true! Still worth working for them because they are fair, honest, fight for the freelancers like m, and keep me busy because I am good, they say. No, they don't pay bonuses but I don't expect it as a contractor.
