I loved the concept of the virtual company. Took all the classes offered.

As a new realtor, I was signed up with the “promise” of guidance and mentorship. I even signed a contract twice because I was told my first one expired, because I signed it and they did not. I fulfilled my part of the mentorship contract. I repeatedly asked the office each week for months that signed me up when am I going to get mentorship as indicated in my contract agreement, they just told me not from them. They said they had no idea and would reach out to the broker, and still nothing. After six months waiting for someone to give me some hands on experience per the agreement, I had to get a full-time job somewhere else. eXp sure doesn’t have any problem deducting $85 out of my bank account each month for nothing.

Pros

Great company to work for. Remote work environment. Great commission split, low fees.

Kontras

Nothing really, I had a great experience. If fully remote is not for you, I don’t recommend eXp.

Pros

The revenue share is great and makes it worthwhile

Kontras

all calls to support are outsourced and are seldom able to be solved over the phone late response to emails in a business where time is money need to sign on to their virtual cloud world if you need some help in the field which can be inconvenient when you are actively showing houses has lost all sense of a small brokerage feel, especially when you need help or help navigating a transaction.
