Good people, sense of camaraderie under intense pressure Remote work

Lack of leadership from C-suite. Intense pressure. 12 hour days quite common. Constant firefighting. Certain people have very loud voices but lack ability. Opportunity to re-architect was shelved. Over reliance on contractors, some of questionable ability, leaving a legacy of crud on top of the crud. Senior devs stuck in their ways makes selling improvements an uphill battle.
