Pros
The interview process was quick, informal and overall very pleasant. My 2 week on-boarding and training was thought-through and gave me the opportunity to liaise with my direct team and with the wider business functions to enable me to gain a broader knowledge of the business and how I fit in. It also gave me the chance to meet other team members who were very friendly and more than happy to share their time with me. Benefits seem to be a large focus of the business and bChannels clearly recognize their staff as people as opposed to numbers. Other than the normal holiday pay, life assurance, etc., there are lots of things that made the company stand out to be including the promotion of a good work-life balance (hours are 09:00-17:00 and there doesn't seem to be pressure to work late), a duvet day, fresh fruit is provided every other week and a very social team in and out of work. People also tend to bring in home-made edibles which is great if you have a sweet tooth! Once settled, a lot of people also have the opportunity to work from home on occasion and also Management also seem to be very open, regularly walking through the office and happy to have a general chat.
