Pros
•Receive assignments to improve your skills
•Forced to teach self new features to complete tasks (good to grow personal skills)
Kontras
•Horrible communication (meetings scheduled the day before to then be rescheduled the day of, which happened for EVERY meeting over my months working here)
•No mentorship (there is speak of a support system in the first group meeting, but in reality there is nothing)
•Unpaid (when there is a severe lack of organization being unpaid makes the experience more painful)
•Huge time difference (this company is based in India, which causes issues for meeting scheduling based on your location)
•One in a million (it is very clear that you are one of several interns and can be easily replaced)
Overall, if you are looking for just something to put on your resume to say that you have an internship in a particular field, then this place is ok. I emphasize that a long term career at this place would be filled with frustration and not much value or learning. The skills I learned I taught myself and my one take away is that I learned how to adapt to remote work. Not great for short term, but horrid for long term. Look elsewhere and this place should be a last resort.
