A few thoughts:
Write Edge has grown 30% year on year over the past four years, and I am incredibly proud of our team – we couldn't have achieved this without each team member. With such growth and as an SME, we acknowledge that there can sometimes be higher demands and limited resources.
We are committed to providing the resources needed to help our team maintain a healthy work-life balance. We have increased our headcount by 20% across all departments over the past year.
Yes, you are correct. The leadership team has low tolerance for gossip. Gossip undermines trust, collaboration, and overall morale of the team. Open communication helps us address problems quickly and ensures everyone feels valued and heard.
I am sorry to hear that you did not feel your concerns were heard or that you did not feel you had a safe platform to raise what you clearly felt strongly about to me or the leadership team.
We are not perfect, but we are committed to building a stronger organisation. My heartfelt thanks for being part of our journey and for your contributions to Write Edge.
